I've only ever known,
The Dark,
The cold recesses, the dark abscesses,
Of this pallid world,
To be where wisdom unfurled,
But you,
Bring a soft light's setting- gently letting,
Me open my heart,
Barriers split apart,
This tender moment, swift denouement,
Showing all that is concealed,
The cold expanse of a starlit field,
How magic,
Love, not morbid- is portentously torpid,
And it has me in its snare,
Caught up in its amorous flare,
And I'm loving it,
