So I wrote this one during the beginning of summer. I originally wasn't going to post it out of the slightest fear that the person it is to would read it. I realize now that will never happen, and I really don't feel the need to keep it something special to share with them anymore.
Unreleased Tension
I never dreamed it would be you,
Or rather, seldom, did I dare to,
Believe that it would be you,
Who,
Made me blurt out something true,
It wasn't hard for you to do,
Your liar's eyes and their menacing hue,
Peaked an interest I have in so few,
New,
Has arisen a yearning stark blue,
Like the skies when a storm's overdue,
Overcast, and clouds ribboned like glue,
And the creaking of the teak and the yew,
You,
Left this tension pent up to brew,
You look at her and you tell me you're through,
For my interest to further accrue,
Saved my illness sitting in drops from the dew,
Slew,
My inhibitions- thus yearning grew,
A spellcaster with a soul bent in two,
The forgeman with driver and screw,
The torpid preacher of ascension anew,
Few,
Give me feelings like these for you.
-And I'm so very very sorry,
Mike
(Yeah, they probably wouldn't have liked it anyway. lol)
